The Australian Kangaroos are set to launch “Operation Kill Bill” as they move to shut down Vodafone Fiji Bati’s giant second‑rower Viliame Kikau in Friday night’s Rugby League World Cup semi‑final.
Kangaroos forward Reagan Campbell‑Gillard knows only too well the devastation Kikau can cause after watching him “terrorising people” in the Intrust Super Premiership this year.
The Fijian forward has not lost any of his six Tests and has been one of the stars of the World Cup for the Bati as he has scored three tries, made five line breaks and ran for 670 meters in four games.
Campbell‑Gillard says his Panthers teammate would be a handful at Suncorp Stadium and must be contained.
He says they will have to shut Kikau down because he has been outstanding for the Bati this whole tournament.
The Bati will play Australia at 10pm Friday in the first semi-final while England will play Tonga at 6pm Saturday in the second semi-final.
