The inclusion of young hooker Asafo Aumua and winger Matt Duffie are the notable features of the All Blacks squad for their end of year northern tour.
In an extended 37‑man squad named on Monday morning, former NRL player Duffie and Wellington sensation Aumua are joined as new All Blacks with Tim Perry and Jack Goodhue.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said six players who have carried heavy workloads this year will not play the first match of the tour against the Barbarians ‑ captain Kieran Read, hooker Dane Coles, prop Wyatt Crockett, lock Sam Whitelock, and midfielders Anton Lienert‑Brown and Sonny Bill Williams.
The All Blacks will fly out on Friday to play tests against France, Scotland and Wales, as well as the tour‑opener against the Barbarians in London on November 5 and a midweek game against a French XV.
