Arsenal's FA Cup defense ended at the first hurdle with a shock 4‑2 loss at second‑tier side Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was forced to watch from the stands in Nottingham as he started a three‑match touchline ban for misconduct toward a referee.

Nottingham Forest, which is 14th in the second‑tier League Championship, last played in the English Premier League in 1999.

In another match, Tottenham beat Wimbledon 3-0.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has beaten Levante 3-0 in the Spanish La Liga with goals from Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Paulinho.

This was Messi’s 365th goal in the Spanish La liga.

Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid will play Celta Vigo this hour.
