England 7s coach Simon Amor has named a strong team for next weekend’s Sydney 7s.
He has included players such as World Sevens Series record try scorer Dan Norton, Tom Mitchell, Dan Bibby, Phil Burgess, James Rodwell and Richard de Carpentier.
Amor says the ability for them to get a consistent group of players training since Cape Town and over Christmas has been excellent.
They are currently fourth on the 7s series points table.
England are pooled with South Africa, PNG and Spain.
Meanwhile, Fiji Airway’s Men’s national 7s team coach Gareth Baber will name his team today.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Russia.
Fiji’s first game is against Samoa at 8.28pm next Friday, they will play Russia in their second game at 4.09pm next Saturday before taking on New Zealand at 7.42pm next Saturday.
The quarter finals will start at 12.28pm next Sunday, the semifinals are at 6.58pm while the final will kick off at 9.48pm.
