All Blacks captain Kieran Read says they want to put lessons from the drawn Lions series into action against the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup opener.
Read says a comprehensive review of the three‑Test Lions series had been invaluable in focusing the All Blacks ahead of the Rugby Championship and the Bledisloe Cup.
Read adds that it was not the unyielding Lions defence which proved costly, rather the All Blacks' inability to make the most of their chances.
Both sides are expected to name their teams on Thursday.
The Wallabies will host the All Blacks at 10pm Saturday.
