The All Blacks continue to remain quite over the details of Waisake Naholo's "alternative" healing in Fiji and whether or not he was cleared to seek the traditional medical treatment.
Radio NZ reports that All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster was somewhat evasive when asked directly if Naholo had received clearance from the All Blacks doctors to travel to Fiji for the treatment.
Foster has also denied if the All Blacks had checked whether or not the traditional medicine breached any World Anti Doping Agency protocols.
Fosters says according to his understanding it was leaves and not drugs that was wrapped around Naholo’s leg.
Naholo is still only at the jogging stage of his rehab and completed light duties on the sidelines with flanker Liam Messam at yesterday's team practice in Wellington.
The All Blacks face Argentina in their first match of the Rugby World Cup on the 21st of this month at 3.45am.
