Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Albert Tuisue and Alivereti Veitokani

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Albert Tuisue and Alivereti Veitokani have both signed deals with London Irish in the English Premiership.

They were part of the team that upset France in the November Internationals last year.

25-year-old Tuisue can play in both the second and back rows while 25‑year‑old fly half Veitokani was the standout performer in the 2018 National Rugby Championship in Australia, winning the tournament’s Rising Star Award.

London Irish Director of Rugby Declan Kidney says that both players have the ability to succeed in English rugby but they also have a lot of room for improvement.

He says they believe that Tuisue has the potential to become a good player for them.

Kidney says Alivereti is a player with talent and potential and he will find the Championship more structured compared to what he is used to in Australia and Fiji, so it might take him time to adjust to rugby in England.
