AG refutes claims by Tuisawau that the Government hasn't done anything for the Fiji 7s team

Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has refuted claims made by SODELPA MP, Ro Filipe Tuisawau that the Government has not done anything for the Fiji 7's team.

Sayed-Khaiyum highlighted that for the rugby 7's team to prepare for and participate in the Rio Olympics the Fijian Government had given $3.07 million.

Sayed-Khaiyum revealed that the Government had given an additional $70,000 to FASANOC for preparations.

Sodelpa MP Ro Filipe Tuisawau had asked the question on what the Government had ever done for the Fiji 7's team.
