ACS, Lelean retain Triple N Zone titles

Senior Boys 400m final

Adi Cakobau School and Lelean Memorial School have retained their titles at the Triple N Zone at the ANZ Stadium.

ACS won the Girls Division with 41 gold, 29 silver and 6 bronze while Lomaivuna High School finished second with 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Lelean Memorial School finished third in the Girls Division with 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.

In the Boys Division, Lelean won with 23 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze while Lomaivuna High School finished second with 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.

Naitasiri Secondary School finished third in the Boys Division with 6 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze.

The Best Male Athlete of the Triple N Zone was Peni Turua of Lomaivuna High School.

Turua won gold in the Senior boys 800 metres, 1500 metres and 4x400 metres.

Asinate Kalou of ACS was the Best Female Athlete of the Triple N Zone as she won gold in the Senior Girls Long jump, Triple jump and 4x100 metres.

Lelean Memorial School’s Netani Vakayalia was crowned the Sprint King of the Triple N Zone after winning the Senior Boys 100 metres with a manual time of 10.57 seconds.

Laisani Moceisawana of ACS won the Senior Girls 100 metres with a manual time of 13.10 seconds.
