5 teams book quarterfinal spot in U14 grade of primary schools soccer

Five teams have booked their quarterfinal spots in the Under 14 grade of the 41st Vodafone Fiji Primary Schools Football Championship at Ratu Cakobau Park.

They are Rewa, Ba, Lautoka, Labasa and Nadroga.

Rewa won all their four games and are one of the top teams in the competition while defending champions Seaqaqa will have to wait for other results to know if they have qualified for tomorrow’s knock-out stages.

Looking at some of the results from today’s games, Nadi and Nadroga played to a nil all draw, Rewa beat Lautoka 3-0, Bua beat Tailevu 1-nil, Nadroga edged Suva 1-0 while Seaqaqa beat Savusavu 1-0.

In the only girl’s division game, Rewa beat Suva 2-0.

Meanwhile, in the U-12 semifinals tomorrow, Nadi will play Ba while Lautoka will play Labasa.
