43rd Fiji Bitter Marist 7s to feature Super 6 U20 competition

The 43rd Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be featuring a new category, the Super 6 U20 competition.

Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram confirmed this at the launch of next year’s Marist 7s at Paradise Beverages headquarters in Walu Bay this afternoon.

Tikaram adds that Marist 7s has also contributed greatly to supplying players to the national 7s team.

He adds that the Marist 7s has also played a big role in the development of women’s rugby in our country.

The tournament is expects to feature 64 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams.

The 43rd Marist 7s Tournament will be held from the 22nd to the 23rd of March next year with the theme of Defending with Honor dedicated to defending our gold medal at the 2019 Tokyo Olympics.
