Four new players have been brought into the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s training squad.
Coach Gareth Baber who has not revealed the names of the players says bringing in new players is always positive as they come with new energy and a point to prove.
Baber adds they will have camps through October and they will also participate in local tournaments so that these new players will get a chance to prove themselves.
Meanwhile, defending champion of the Oceania 7s, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team, has been pooled with Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands for this year’s tournament.
Pool B has last year’s runners up, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Nauru.
