The 2016 Oceania Volleyball Championship will kick off today at the Vodafone Arena.
Eight teams will play in the men's division while 9 teams will participate in the women's category.
Fiji, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, Samoa and New Caledonia are the Oceania nations that will feature in the competition.
Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama will open the tournament this morning.
The National Sports Commission has provided $60,000 to support the tournament.
The 2016 Oceania Volleyball Championship will start at 10am today and end on Saturday.
Tickets are $5.
Meanwhile every $2 collected from the tickets sold will go towards the Vodafone Fiji 7s team for their preparations to the Rio Olympics.
Coach Ben Ryan and some players will also be present at the opening this morning.
