200 athletes to compete in National Easter Athletics Championships

Over 200 athletes will be competing this weekend in the Shop and Save National Easter Athletics Championships.

This will also be the final trial to pick the Fiji Athletics team to the Pacific Games.

Athletics Fiji Chief Development Officer, Joe Rodan Junior said they are also expecting Pacific Sprint Champion, Banuve Tabakaucoro to defend his Easter 100 metres title who is back from Australia.

Francis Kirikirikula, Albert Miller Junior, Vilisoni Rarasea, Elenoa Sailosi, Younis Bese, Sisilia Seavula are some of the top athletes that will be competing in the Easter championship.

The National Easter Athletics Championship will be held on Friday and Saturday at the ANZ stadium.
