16 pools have been drawn for the men’s competition in the 43rd Fiji Bitter Marist 7s which will kick off tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva
Defending Champion, Tabadamu Blue is in Pool 2 alongside Westerland Natadra Young Boys, Navuso Rugby Club and Gau Kacau Knights.
Tabadamu will be on the run as the only team trying to retain the title for the fifth consecutive year.
Meanwhile, two teams from Russia which are under the watch of Rugby Legend Waisale Serevi have been placed in two separate pools.
Russia Red is pooled with Sauva Babas, Ravuka Sharks and Dilkusha Young Boys in pool 5.
Russia Blue is joined with Newborn Waibasaga Rugby Team, Veilomani Combo and Brimstone Rakaci-kaci in pool 15.
Waisale Serevi says that they are here to learn and gain as much as they can before heading into the Tier 2 competition in the Hong Kong 7s.
There are three pools in the women’s competition and 2 in the Under 20 competition.
The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held tomorrow and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
