A total of 15 players including gold medal winning 7s players Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai and Kitione Taliga together with last season’s regulars, Josua Vici and Emosi Mulevoro attended the fitness test yesterday for the extended Fiji team preparing for the Dubai 7s.
Team manager Ropate Kauvesi says the session was to check the baseline fitness level of players ahead of the camp next week where the hard part will come in.
Kauvesi says tomorrow there will be a fitness test at the FRU High Performance Centre in Sigatoka where players like Jasa Veremalua, Apisai Domolailai, Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Alivereti Veitokani are expected to attend.
The team will move into camp next Tuesday at the Uprising Beach Resort.
