14 players part of extended Fiji 7s squad now in camp

14 players who are part of the extended Vodafone Fiji 7s squad are now in camp at Uprising Resort.

Kitione Taliga, Sevuloni Tawake, Timoci Sinate and Rusiate Tadulala joined camp today while some other notable names already in camp are Samisoni Viriviri, Alivereti Veitokani and Lepani Kurumudu.

Team manager Ropate Kauvesi says the fitness of the players is starting to pick up as they are working on the basics of rugby and they expect to lift the intensity in training from next week.

Kauvesi says they are on track to name the team for the Oceania 7s next Thursday and they will name a 13 member team as the tournament will be held on the 11th to the 12th of November at the ANZ Stadium.

Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai, Jasa Veremalua and Apisai Domolailai are expected to join the camp soon.

Meanwhile the Dubai 7s will start on December 2nd and Fiji are the defending champions.
