Vodafone Fiji Sevens coach Ben Ryan has named his 12 member squad to play in the Oceania 7's and the first leg of the 2014-2015 IRB Sevens Series in Gold Coast.
Ryan has included four new caps including Nadroga’s Apisai Naqaliva and Savenaca Rawaca, Nadi’s Senivalati Ramuwai and Hideaway Hurricanes sensation, Eminoni Nasilasila.
Ryan has again chosen Osea Kolinisau as captain who will be guided by Emosi Mulevoro and Setefano Cakau.
Other players that have been named are Semi Kunatani, Jasa Veremalua, Apisai Domolailai, Aisake Katonibau and Apisalome Waqatabu.
Ryan said they are looking at the best available side in the country.
Meanwhile, Ryan says that it has been a while since he saw the hard hitting Aisake Katonibau back into the national side.
Ryan added that many have been asking about Pio Tuwai is currently in rehab to be fit for the Dubai 7's and onwards.
The Vodafone Fiji Sevens team will march into camp at the Uprising Resort this Thursday to prepare for the Oceania 7's which starts next Wednesday before they head to the Gold Coast 7's next Sunday.
The Gold Coast 7's will be held on the 11th and 12th of next month.
