11 boxers to compete in Fiji Games National Boxing Championship finals

NZ Super Heavyweight Contender Joseph Nagatalevu and Victor Rova going head to head in the main bout

Eleven boxers will be competing at tonight’s Fiji Games National Boxing Championship finals at the Raiwai Community Hall.

Fiji Boxing President Manasa Baravilala says that this National Championship is a trial and boxers will use this as a preparation platform for the Pacific Mini Games in Vanuatu later this year.

Baravilala says that boxers will represent their individual clubs and districts in tonight’s bouts.

Some big names that will be participating tonight is Pacific Mini Games Silver medalist Simi Vuata as well as up and coming super-heavyweight contender Victor Rova Pauliasi Junior and Joseph Nagatalevu coming in from New Zealand.

The Fiji Games National Boxing Championship finals will begin at 6:30 tonight at the Raiwai Community Hall.
