The Lautoka side

A ten men Rewa side came from behind to draw 1-all with Lautoka in the last pool game of Day 2 of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.

Lautoka's Zibraaz Sahib scored through a penalty in the 20th minute of the first half.

Rewa's Vuniuci Tikomaimereke was red carded for handling the ball inside Rewa's penalty box.

The Delta Tigers came determined in the second half and scored through Sameula Kautoga in the 36th minute.

Rewa now has 2 points and they need to beat Dreketi with a good goal margin to progress to the semis.

Rewa Coach Marika Rodu says that they do not have any threat from the Dreketi side today as they are already out of the tournament.

Lautoka and Ba have four points each, however the Blues have a better goal difference and a draw against Ba tomorrow should see Lautoka qualify for the semis.

Lautoka Coach Kamal Swamy says that his players did not pick on the off side and they will try to improve in that area against Ba today.

On the other hand Ba needs a must win to cement its position in the semis however if they draw with Lautoka, then Ba will have to hope that Dreketi beats or draws with Rewa.

In today's pool matches, Labasa has already qualified for semis after thrashing Rakiraki 4-nil.

Nadi needs a draw against Labasa to book their spot in the semis.

On the other hand, Suva needs to beat Rakiraki by a good goal margin and hope that Labasa beats Nadi for the Capital City side to progress to the semis.
