Striker, Iosefo Verevou is overweight and this is why he is not part of the Vodafone Fiji soccer team that will play two crucial matches against the All Whites in the 2018 World Cup Qualifier.

National coach Christophe Gamel says he had told Verevou to lose weight in January this year.

We also asked Gamel why good mid-fielders like Antonio Tuivuna and Tevita Waranivalu have not been considered.

Meanwhile the All Whites arrived at Nadi Airport in the last hour and will have a training run at Churchill Park tonight.

We asked New Zealand Coach, Anthony Hudson if they are wary of the Fijians as they lost to Fiji 2-0 at Churchill Park in 2008.

The Vodafone Fiji soccer team will play New Zealand in the World Cup qualifying match at 1pm tomorrow at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.
