McKee working with Baber on Europe based players performance

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee says that he is working with the national 7s coach Gareth Baber, trainer Naca Cawanibuka and the rest of the Athletic Performance team to monitor the performance of Leone Nakarawa, Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra.

With Baber also planning to rope in the three players into the national 7s squad for the Rugby World Cup 7s, McKee says that a plan has been put together for these players across June and July to make sure they are ready for the two tournaments.

McKee says that it will be up to Baber on which player he will pick for the World Cup in July.

The Flying Fijians first test match will be against Samoa on June 9th at the ANZ Stadium.

Their other matches will be against Georgia and Tonga on the 16th and 23rd of June at the ANZ Stadium and Churchill Park respectively.

Meanwhile the national 7s squad has resumed camp today ahead of the London and Paris 7s.

The London 7s will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
