The Lautoka soccer team will successfully defend the Vodafone Premier League title this Sunday if the side can get a draw against Rewa.
Last year’s League champion, Lautoka currently has 28 points and a draw or a win against Rewa will mean the Blues will win the league back to back.
Ba is second on the points table with 22 points and will finish the league with 28 points if the side can beat Dreketi and Labasa in the last round of VPL.
The Men in Black can also win the VPL with 28 points if Rewa beats Lautoka and Ba manages to better their goal difference.
Meanwhile a very fierce challenge is expected between Tavua and Dreketi at 3pm this Sunday at Garvey Park as the loser is highly likely to get demoted to the senior competition.
Tavua currently has eight points while Dreketi has seven points and sits last on the points table.
In the last round of VPL this Sunday, Lautoka will play Rewa at Churchill Park, Ba will play Labasa, Tavua will face Dreketi at Garvey Park while Nadi will host Suva at Prince Charles Park.
On Saturday, Tavua will host Labasa at Garvey Park while Ba will face Dreketi.
