Fiji National Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba has said that this weekend’s Vodafone Inter-zone grand final will be a display of rugby league that has never been seen before in Fiji as local players are vying for a place in the Vodafone Fiji Bati World Cup squad.
Lawaqa Park will play host to the Nasinu Knights taking on Nadi Aviators in the Men’s final while the Women’s final will see Nadroga Knights take on Lautoka Crusaders.
The Nasinu Titans will face Nadi Aviators in the Under 20 final.
The national selectors will be at Lawaqa Park to select the sides for the East vs West Fiji Residents Bati trial game.
The Fiji Residents Bati will face the Fiji Overseas Bati for the Battle of the Bati before the final Bati squad is announced on October 7.
Meanwhile, the Bati will be host the Australian Kangaroos and the PNG Kumuls at the ANZ Stadium on the 14th of next month.
