The Fijiana 7s team has qualified for quarterfinal of the Langford 7s in Canada.
Fiji won two pool matches and lost 12-7 to New Zealand earlier this afternoon to register their first defeat in the tournament.
New Zealand led 12-7 at halftime.
Fiji’s only try in the match was scored by Luisa Tisolo.
Fijiana 7s team had beat England 24‑14 and thrashed Brazil 47‑14.

Fiji will now face Australia in the Cup quarterfinals at 4.42am tomorrow.
In other quarterfinals, France will meet Ireland, USA will face Canada and New Zealand will clash with England.
Fiji is in 10th place on the World Sevens Series points table with 15 points.
Australia leads while second is New Zealand and Russia is in third place.
