Fiji 7's team crowned champions of Nabukelevu-i-ra 7's tournament

The Fiji Airways 7's team has been crowned champions of the Nabukelevu-i-ra 7's tournament after their 42-7 win over Lomati Two in the final.

They defeated Nakaiolo 33-5 in their semifinal game and had earlier thrashed Senigigia 34-0 in their quarterfinal match.

The National side was also dominant throughout their pool games.

Meanwhile Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Gareth Baber was also present at the tournament and believed to have been scouting for players.

Some players in the Fiji 7s team squad playing in the tournament are captain Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Alasio Naduva, Josua Vakurinabili, Paula Dranisinukula, Batinisavu Uluiyata, Teri Tamani and Kalione Nasoko.

The team received $5,000 for the win while Lomati Two walked away with $2,000.
