Daugunu helps secure a win for Reds in Jaguares clash

An incredible Filipo Daugunu try and a remarkable Reds defence was enough to claim Queensland Red’s third straight win, beating the Jaguares 18‑7 in the last hour.

The Brad Thorn side, has been built on defence.

In total, the Reds made 38 more tackles than their opponents but that number was closer to 70 in the second half.

The other try from the Reds was scored by Brandon Paenga‑Amosa.

The Jaguares lone try was scored by Bautista Delguy.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders maintained their unbeaten run at home, and turned back the Crusaders in a thrilling 25-17 win last night.

In other match results, the Brumbies beat the Sharks  24‑17, the Stormers beat the Blues 37‑20 while the Lions edged the Sunwolves 40‑38.

Meanwhile, in today's match the Waratahs will take on the Rebels at  5.05pm.
