Crusaders to send out an All Black front row pack against the Highlanders this Friday

The Crusaders will have an All Black front row pack when they face the Highlanders in their quarterfinal on Friday.

All Blacks prop Owen Franks is expected to be named in the Crusaders line up for Friday’s night quarterfinal.

Crusaders Assistant Head Coach Jason Ryan confirmed they would not hesitate in injecting Franks in Friday’s game.

Franks has only played four games in his final Super Rugby season with the Crusaders before departing to England.

It is expected that hooker Codie Taylor and loosehead prop Joe Moody will partner up with Franks in the front row.

The Crusaders will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday at Rugby League Park in Christchurch, the Jaguares will meet the Chiefs in Argentina at 10.05am Saturday, the Hurricanes will meet the Bulls at Wellington Regional Stadium at 7.35pm Saturday while the Brumbies take on the Sharks at 10.05pm Saturday in Canberra.
