Australian woman Yvette Nikolic has been acquitted of drug trafficking charges by Suva High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.
Justice Goundar ruled this afternoon that there is no case to answer and found her not guilty of all charges.
Yvette's lawyer Ronald Gordon had filed a no case to answer application last week.
Justice Goundar says just because she is the owner of the yacht and had accompanied her husband on the voyage; it does not mean she was in control of the yacht.
He says the fact that she is married to the second accused and that she was travelling with him does not incriminate her for an inference that she is a participant to the crimes the husband is accused of.
Yvette had been jointly charged with the husband, John Nikolic.
Nikolic is still facing two counts of possession of illicit drugs, one count of possession of arms and ammunition without a licence and two counts of unlawful importation of illicit drugs.
It is alleged that he had imported 12.9 kilograms of cocaine and 34.4 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated value of between $20 million to $30 million.
It is also alleged that he failed to declare that he had in his possession two pistols with 112 rounds of live ammunition.
The prosecution will make its closing submission on John Nikolic's case at 10am tomorrow.
The defence has waived its right to a closing submission.
