Youths are the hope of our Nation.
Those were the sentiments of the Minister for Health and Medical Services, Rosy Akbar while officiating at the Fatima Girls Hostel Annual Prize Giving Ceremony today.
Akbar says that no matter what influences our youths we must never lose hope in raising youths to becoming good citizens.
She says a generation where people care for each other is what Fiji needs to create, regardless of faith, culture and who we are as an individual.
To achieve this, Akbar says that parents are responsible for instilling good values in their children.
Akbar also stated that technology, Social Media and adults behaviour are creating major influences in the way children are behaving, thus there’s a need for adults to properly guide them.
The Health Minister also encouraged the students to study hard as education has the power to change destiny.
Out of the 50 Students at the Fatima Girls Hostel, 20 of them had successfully graduated today.
