Young women need to take ownership of their citizenship rights - Bale

“Young women need to take a little bit more ownership of their citizenship rights as we are heading to elections”.

These were the words of Fiji Young Women’s Forum Co-Convener, Tavai Bale while launching the book My Guide to Voting yesterday.

Bale said young women should be more responsible and be involved in the electoral process.

She said they are encouraging and strengthening young women to advocate for a positive change.

Bale is encouraging women in both rural and urban areas to exercise their leadership role and to talk about it in their individual community.
