Great news for the Vodafone Flying Fijians as they head to England for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer, Radrodro Tabualevu confirms that World Rugby has agreed to make the entire insurance premium payment for all the players in the team.
Tabualevu says this was listed as a major expense for Fiji as the insurance premium of the players is based on their individual contracts.
Tabualevu also confirms that the Rugby World Cup company is looking after the airfares and accommodation of the team.
Meanwhile Fiji will be the home nation in the opening match against England in Twickenham at 7am on the 19th of September.
Fiji won the coin toss and has opted to wear their traditional white jersey for the match while England will have to wear their away jersey.
The Flying Fijians will also have the home nation’s changing room for the match.
The team left for England earlier today.
