This message was given to the students at the Suva Muslim College during the Eid ul Fitr celebration by Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya today.
Koya told the students that Fiji has given respect to all religions and their beliefs and all the Fijians should be proud of this.
He says he believes that religion can be a unifying force, Islam which is one of the most recognised religion in Fiji requires its believers to put their faith into action and practice.
Koya stresses that he wants all the students to carry forward the essence of Eid which is love, happiness and togetherness.
Meanwhile, the students also recited Nazm - the Islamic poems dedicated to god.
