Work on the four lane road in Nadi worth $65.9 million dollars is expected to begin next month.
This has been confirmed by the new Fiji Roads Authority Chairman Parmesh Chand who said the tender that has been awarded to Higgins Fiji Limited will see the Nadi N2 four lane project from the Naisoso Junction to the Wailoaloa Junction.
Chand said road users need to familiarize themselves with this new construction as it is expected to cause traffic disruptions.
Director of Higgins Fiji Limited Grant Higgins said it is a very substantial and complex work which consists of two stages.
The four lane construction in Nadi is expected to finish in 2016.
