A woman who has been charged for allegedly harboring an escaped remand prisoner will be produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court today while the hunt continues for the three men who escaped from the Nadi Police Station on the 17th of this month.
The woman has been charged with two counts of harboring a prisoner.
Police say the accused is the partner of escapee, Nacanieli Bakata and upon investigations it was discovered that she had allegedly assisted Bakata on two different occasions since his escape from Police custody on the 17th of this month.
They say the accused is alleged to have taken food to Bakata on the 19th and 21st of this month in Korociri and Votualevu.
Police say while they continue the search for escapees Nacanieli Bakata, Ilaitia Vuivuda and Josaia Leone.
Members of the public are reminded that it is an offence to aid and harbor prisoners.
