A 27-year-old woman will appear at the Suva Magistrates court this afternoon after being allegedly involved in a methamphetamine case in December last year.
Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the woman was arrested over the weekend after she was evading police.
The woman went to the Post Office late last year to collect a parcel, however she fled when questioned by Customs Officers.
The illicit drug which was concealed inside a shampoo bottle was sent from the United States and was addressed to a local woman.
Meanwhile a 29-year-old woman will also be produced at the Suva Magistrates court after being charged with the unlawful importation of illicit drugs.
The woman is in custody following the seizure of a parcel containing drugs believed to be methamphetamine.
Officers from FRCA intercepted the parcel from the Suva Post Office last Thursday.
