West market vendors receive certificates after two day workshop

A Rakiraki market vendor Varanisese Maisamoa who received a certificate after completing Market for Change Workshop says the two day workshop has been very educational.

Maisamoa says the workshop has helped her in her communication skills, building healthy relationships with other vendors and finding ways to improve livelihood of market vendors.

Another market vendor, Nitesh Prasad of Ba says the workshop has broaden his knowledge and skills on how best he can work with the council management to address issues he may have.

Prasad highlights the workshop addresses issues faced by market vendors like high traveling cost to market and separation from the family for almost four days in a week.

113 market vendors in Ba, Rakiraki and Tavua received their certificate after completing Market for Change Workshop.
