The Fiji Roads Authority says they will fix the road on Kings Road at 8 miles in Nasinu as soon as the weather clears up.
Huge traffic jam has been witnessed every afternoon for the last few days and thousands of people have been seen stuck in traffic for long periods of time as road conditions on Kings Road near the Standard Concrete is in a bad state.
A concerned resident of Nausori told us that he left Suva at 6pm yesterday and was still stuck in traffic near Nadawa at 7.10pm.
He says there was a huge traffic jam because of the deplorable conditions on the Kings Road near the Muanikoso Junction.
The traffic was built up as far as Reba Circle for those traveling through the back road.
FRA’s CEO, Jonathan Moore says that they will be sealing an unsealed lane on the same potion of the road which has been left unsealed for some time now.
