Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says they have disbursed $200,000 to 29 landowners who came up with their own projects for their land.

While speaking at the public consultation with the Itaukei Land Trust Board and sugar industry stakeholders in Lautoka, Bainimarama says the money disbursed ranges from $5,000 to $20,000.

He says this is a new program that they started at the TLTB.

Bainimarama says apart from this, they have also opened a new TLTB office in Ba to look after everyone in that area and people from Ba will not have to go to Lautoka for any TLTB issues.
