We cannot be everywhere all the time - SCC

The Suva City Council only has about 8-10 officers patrolling and fining traffic offenders around the CBD areas in Suva.

The Council says the officers do all that they can to fine all offenders but they can not be everywhere all the time.

The Council has stated that if someone is concerned about people parking illegally they can lodge a formal complaint with the Council.

The Council will look into the complaint straightaway if its lodged within working hours.

Hundreds of people are fined on a daily basis by the Suva City Council for the Obstruction of the Streets.

The Council had earlier said that they are not the only ones fining traffic offenders and people can contact police, should they see any such wrong doings.
