Wati's first time at Fiji Showcase wins her 3 nights accommodation at Plantation Island

60-year-old Suruj Wati of Navo, Nadi who initially did not want to go to Fiji Showcase as she had to pay $4.00 entry fee, won three nights accommodation for two adults and two children at Plantation Island Resort at Fiji Showcase yesterday.

It was Wati and her two daughters first time at Fiji Showcase.

They came from Nadi yesterday to take advantage of the bargains and entertainment at Fiji Showcase.

Susan Lata who is Suruj Wati’s daughter says she had to convince her mother that they made the trip from Nadi so they have to take advantage of that.

She has also encouraged people who have never been to Fiji Showcase to attend Fiji Showcase and take advantage of the great bargains and entertainment.

Susan says the trip was worth it.

Susan is looking forward to come to Fiji Showcase again next year.

Meanwhile, people will get the chance to watch Australian couple Soul Mystique from 4.00pm to 4.15pm and 7 to 7.15 tonight on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

People will get a chance to see the world famous couple change their costumes 15 times under a wall of falling confetti ‑ each costume change will be done within 2 and a half seconds.

Soul Mystique have performed twice on Australia's Got Talent.

Its LICI Saturday at Fiji Showcase and Penguins of Madagascar and Mike Wazowski from the movie Monsters Inc will put on a character show for kids from 12.30pm to 1pm and 6.30 to 7pm on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

The FM96 Fun competitions will be from 1 to 2pm on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

The Navtarang and Sargam Trivia will be from 2 to 2.30pm and 7.30 to 8pm on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

With 127 booths offering the best bargains, food and other entertainment throughout the day, people can look forward to a fun filled day.

The Mata dance group will rock the stage from 2.30pm to 3pm on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

The group will be representing Fiji in the World Hip Hop championships next month.

They won the Mega Crew Division and Varsity Division in the Hip Hop International South Pacific qualifier in New Zealand in April.

The Viti FM Sigi Drigi with Viti Fm personalties will be held from 3 to 3.30pm on the Mission Pacific External Entertainment Stage.

Today is the last day of Fiji Showcase and people going to Fiji Showcase have the chance to win one Fiji Airways return ticket to Sydney and 2 day passes to South Sea Islands in the Yasawa’s including lunch and drinks.

All you have to do is write your name on your Fiji Showcase entry ticket and place it in the entry bin. The draw will be done at 8.45 tonight.

Gates at Fiji Showcase will open this hour and close at 9pm.
