The water levels at Wainibuku, Tovata, Nasinu and Flagstaff Reservoirs was on the verge of reaching its maximum capacity as of midday yesterday.
Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that this is sufficient enough to supply water to the thousands of people living in the Suva to Nausori corridor that were affected by water cuts since Sunday night.
The Water Authority of Fiji says late last night water was slowly being restored to residents, schools and businesses along the corridor as well as in and around the greater Suva area.
The interruption in supply was a result of a burst main from the Waila Treatment Plant to the Wainibuku Reservoir.
