Water is now being slowly restored to thousands of people living in the Suva to Nausori corridor after they were affected by water cuts since Sunday night.
The Water Authority of Fiji says residents, schools and businesses along the corridor as well as in and around the greater Suva area have been facing water cuts.
The interruption in supply was a result of a burst main from the Waila Treatment Plant to the Wainibuku Reservoir.
Some of the areas affected: Davuilevu, Nakasi, junction of Wainibuku Road to Rewa Bridge, Koronivia Road, Narere, Navosai, RFMF Force Training Group, Makoi, Laqere, Muanikoso, Nadawa, Nadera, Nepani, Laucala Beach, Kinoya, Kalabu, Valelevu, Newtown, Tacirua Heights, parts of Princes Road, Ratu Mara Road, Fletcher Road, Jerusalem Road, Grantham Road, Rifle Range, Laucala Bay Road, Bau Street, part of Ratu Sukuna Road, Domain, McGregor Road, Denison Road, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Muanikau Road, USP and Vuya Road.
