A broken valve has caused the water disruption in parts of Toorak from yesterday afternoon.
Water Authority of Fiji officials are working to repair the broken valve.
The time frame for the completion of the repair works is yet to be ascertained.
Water is being carted to the affected people.
Meanwhile, CEO Opetaia Ravai says that the officials in the west visited the residents of Mutla Street in Field 40, Lautoka to discuss water disruptions in their area.
More than ten houses in Mutla Street were not receiving water from Saturday night.
Ravai says the officials have advised the residents that low pressure was usually the cause of lack of water supply.
This is only during peak hours in the mornings and afternoons.
He says water supply has been fully restored to the residents.
Ravai says as a way forward, the officials will verify the problem in the area and will do maintenance work to control the issue for the residents.
