People along Wainibokasi Road from Nausori Airport to the new Rewa Bridge will soon benefit from the upgraded road.
Fiji Roads Authority Corporate Communications Officer, Onarina Umu said the project on Wainibokasi Road is a road upgrade project that is part of a bigger program called the Nadi and Suva Road Upgrading Project.
Umu said the improvements will include better pedestrian footpaths, improved street lights and upgraded transport service facilities like bus stops.
She said travellers along these roads will notice the earthworks and drainage works taking place in the areas.
She added this project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
