Waidina Secondary School receives sports equipment and furniture worth $10K

Waidina Secondary School in Naitasiri has received sports equipment and furniture worth $10,000 through the co-operation of Swire Shipping Fiji and Swire Shipping Hong Kong.

Waidina Secondary School’s Principal Alena Ligavatu says they were surprised to be presented with tables, chairs and jerseys.

The School has a total of 234 students and 24 teachers.

Ligavatu says that the furniture will be used in classrooms and the teachers office while the sports equipment will be directed to the Physical Education Department.

Meanwhile, Ligavatu says they are requesting help from government in relation to the renovation of School Teachers Quarters.
