With the dry weather spell taking its toll on number of areas around the country, people have been urged to use water wisely and to store enough for immediate use.
A resident in Vanualevu said the dry weather spell is affecting more than 300 people in Eastern Vanualevu.
Kamelsh Prasad said water sources have been drying up and people have to travel several kilometers to get water for their use.
Also a resident living in Kalekana Lami has raised concerns that they have been without water for almost a week now.
Water Authority of Fiji said the dry weather and change in climate has been diminishing reservoirs recently.
However the Authority said that water trucks will be serving affected areas as a temporary measure to address the situation.
Meanwhile, a number of areas in the Western division have also been affected as a result of the dry weather condition.
