Vasuturaga’s judgment to be delivered on Monday

High Court Judge Justice, Salesi Temo will deliver the judgment on Monday in relation to case of 41-year-old Sitiveni Qio Vasuturaga who is alleged to have murdered his wife and mother-in-law.

The three assessors have found Vasuturaga not guilty of murder but they have found him guilty of manslaughter for the first and the second count.

The assessors have also found him not guilty of attempted murder.

Vasuturaga has been remanded in custody.

The alleged incident occurred in Namuana village in Kadavu on 10th August, 2014.

Vasuturaga admitted in court that he stabbed his mother‑in‑law and wife.
