The biggest ever Uprising Corona Music Festival is set to be held on the 5th of November at Uprising Resort.
The event will run from 12 midday Saturday 5th November and finish at approximately 2am, with nothing but 14 hours of non-stop live music, dance and entertainment.
Uprising General Manager James Pridgeon says the Music Festival are proud supporters of the Walk On Walk Strong Foundation and also partners with Mangroves for Fiji, where they will be encouraging mangrove planting on the day.
The Uprising Corona Music Festival this year will have 2 international bands - The Flip-Flop Movement and Jay Hoads, and local entertainers InsideOut, The RelatiV, RAKO, the best of Fiji’s upcoming bands including former Black Rose leader Jim Ratusila’s new band, The Rubber Band Fiji, Sassy, Sammy Stevens and VOU.
Uprising will organize a bus on a first come first serve basis on the day from Suva to Uprising and back.
Pridgeon says that their goal is to grow this event to be the biggest of it’s kind in Fiji, and in the years to come to grow to be the biggest hopefully in the Pacific.
He says they are targeting more than 2,000 people.
