USP donates recovery funds to Kiribati and Tuvalu

USP Vice-Chancellor and President Rajesh Chandra hands the envelope to the President of Kiribati Anote Tong.
The University of the South Pacific handed $30,092 to the President of Kiribati and Tuvalu’s High Commission First Secretary to help their people recover from Cyclone Pam.
USP Vice-Chancellor and President Rajesh Chandra says that he is pleased to see USP students take the initiative and partner with Campus Life to organise a fund-raising concert.
Professor Chandra says the concert raised $10,092 while the University donated $20,000.
Kiribati and Tuvalu will receive $15,046 each.
